Rant about the trains
Have spent far too long on trains over the last couple of days. The trains really are very bad, they are late, somewhat disorganised, dirty, unpleasant and very expensive. I guess the owners are making some money but that is really very little consolation to the masses of people who just want an efficient, inexpensive public transport system. I haven’t really come up with the solution but I guess if we all ran a society that was sensible and was preoccupied with coming up with ingenious ways to help people then that would probably be better than one run on such a bizarre concept as ‘making money’.
