The students are revolting
Over 50 000 students congregated in London today to protest against the massive increase in tuition fees. And what a protest it was – just like those heady days in January 2009 when over 30 universities were occupied by students protesting the Israeli attacks on Palestine. The demonstration walked along the Embankment to Tate Britain and then on to the Conservative Party Headquarters at 30 Millbank Tower. It was there that the students spontaneously occupied the building. There is a good comment on the the Guardian site and you can see a video of the event here on the BBC site.
