Great and Manifold Blessings: The Making of the King James Bible
I nipped to the University Library with Tim on yesterday to see the Great and Manifold Blessings: The Making of the King James Bible. It’s just amazing to think that 500 years ago people were killed for trying to produce the bible in the vernacular. We got chucked out before we saw the whole thing – turns out the library usually shuts at 4.30pm on a Saturday and isn’t even open on a Sunday at all!
